Google Home allows scheduling for the custom Routines, so we can apply the same with the same tasks as in the ready-made Routines. The only difference is that the commands could not be the same. When you’re ready to go to sleep, say, “Ok Google, good night.” this is a trigger. In response to that trigger, Google Home will perform the actions in your routine. Google Home routines let you set up a series of actions to occur when you complete a trigger phrase. For instance, your routine can turn off all the lights in the house when you tell Google, “Goodnight.” Routines can also be customized to say things like, “Good morning!

After you select a routine, choose one of the activation phrases on the next screen. Google Assistant provides three for you, but you can also set a customized phrase to trigger the routine. On the following screen, checkboxes represent all the actions a routine can feature. Tap each one to select or deselect the actions and suit your preferences. Create and manage routines in the Google Home app
All you need to get started is the Google Home app for iOS or Android and a Google Home device. This is the same as we went over in the "Good morning" routine, but this time we'll have Google play a relaxing Pandora station at a lower volume.
